Benicàssim
One of Spain’s pioneer tourist areas. Between the time of the first construction and the present day, it has undergone a profound change based solely on tourism, to such an extent that its infrastructures are currently worth €757,665,595. It can presently house 100,000 tourists.
Beaches
All Benicàssim’s beaches have been awarded the European Union’s Blue Flag; the beaches boasting this flag are: Voramar, Almadrava, Torre Sant Vicent, Els Terrers and Heliópolis.
These beaches are characterised by their very fine sand and gentle slope, as well as the numerous services they offer the tourist: lifeguards, cleaning, public access and monitors, thus opening the leisure offer to all those who wish to make more active use of the beach.
Leisure area
Calle Santo Tomás, in the town centre, offers numerous establishments such as ice-cream parlours, restaurants, bars, pubs and terraces, as well as shops for presents and souvenirs. Plaza de los Dolores is the busiest area during summer evenings. It offers a large number of places with the finest contemporary music all in a young atmosphere.
